Corporate Quality Intern (Year-Round)

POSITION SUMMARY

A Quality Analyst Intern is a problem solver, facilitator, auditor, and resource.  Responsible for data analysis, leading change in the Corporate Quality program and helping develop a technology vision for the quality teams.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Develops standard operating procedures and work instructions.
•  Provides training on new processes.
• Collects data and analyzes trends to resolve customer problems and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Conducts quality system audits to ensure consistency in processes and procedures.
• Responsible for the successful completion of projects that align with a total quality management approach throughout the locations.
• Assists other departments and team members with quality related questions, issues, documentation and training requests for production employees.
• Collaborates with multiple departments and individuals regarding resolution of quality problems.
• Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments
• Ability to work and interact well with others.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  College student of at least sophomore standing.   Math, Data Analytics, Leadership/Business, Safety, Quality, Project Management, Engineering, Physics majors preferred.

Experience:  None

Required Skills:

• Intermediate PC skills
• Intermediate communication and organization skills
