Job Summary

  • The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for leading a team of field marketing professionals in the Southwest Region which consists of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. 
  • Supervises, trains, coaches, and motivates assigned team whose primary responsibility is to develop and manage both retail and wholesale relationships.
  • Teach field reps how to create growth strategies (and get commitments) that are customized for the individual retailer/wholesaler and will enable our partners to grow profitably.
  • Routinely visits agency partners with the assigned marketing professionals to ensure each field rep is executing high quality meetings. Minimum travel level is 50%.   
  • Responsible for assigned team and region performance (i.e. agency visits, submission activity, policy count, premium etc.) as well as adoption of national initiatives.
  • Develop regional growth strategy quarterly after analyzing production reports.
  • Management responsibility also includes interviewing job candidates, initiates or recommends personnel actions including hiring, promotions, discharges, disciplinary methods, performance appraisals, salary adjustments and staffing levels. 
  • Addresses problems and issues as they arise, disseminates information regarding new technology, new products and changes to current products. 
  • Communicates with product managers any issues that may arise in the field. 
  • Additional duties as assigned will include, but is not limited to, office management responsibilities.
