Surgery - Plastic Physician Assistant

Hospital is seeking experienced NP/PA Locum Coverage for Plastic Surgery!

JOB DETAILS:

Practice Setting: Postop care, Inpatient, outpatient, Admitting, Discharging patients, 1st assist in surgery, rounding on patients.

Call Schedule: Random days throughout month-includes weekends. 20 Days.

Call Ratio: 1 in 3.

Average Number of Patients Per Day: 40

Documentation System/EMR: Epic

Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma Level 1

Will APP be Working Autonomously: Yes

Supervising Physician Present During Assignment:

Dr. will be present during assignment time span but Physician's Assistant will need to be able to work alone while Dr. is seeing patients and while employee is on call.

Patient Age Demographic: Adult/ Geriatric Skin Care

MUST NOTATE ALL TO AVOID BEING REDIRECTED

• Board Certified (NCCPA) - REQUIRED
• Active OH license - Highly Preferred (will accept providers in the process of obtaining their license!)
• ACLS, BLS - REQUIRED
• Fellowship Trained in Plastic Surgery (will not ACCEPT new grads!) - REQUIRED
