Overview:

GovCIO is currently hiring for Mobile/Wireless Support Specialist to provide Tier 2 support services for the full range of functions involved with supporting approximately 12,000 existing mobile devices for the Department of Veteran Affairs which include replacement, deployment, and post-deployment support for mobile devices including the Intake, Configuration, SharePoint, Asset Management, Customer Care, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)/Lync processes. The position will be located in Washington, DC, and will be an on-site position.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support for mobile devices and applications
  • AirWatch MDM user account administration
  • Device troubleshooting and installation for wireless access to internet, email, calendar, air cards, cell phone, and applications. Assist customers with setup, configuration, and optimization of mobile devices
  • Document and track customer issues and resolutions in ServiceNow
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve recurring issues
  • Stay updated with the latest mobile technology trends and updates
  • Provide desk side support to include device setup, brief trainings, and mobile device PKI encryption configuration.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 yrs of support environment experience (or commensurate years of experience)
  • 2 yrs experience minimum Mobile Device Management support
  • Windows 10/ Microsoft Outlook/calendar experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent Customer Service skills

Required Clearance

  • Ability to obtain Suitability/Public Trust Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in mobile technology (e.g., CompTIA Mobility+, Apple Certified Support Professional)
  • AirWatch/WorkSpace One, Mobile Iron, Citrix XenMobile, IBM MaaS360
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions
  • Knowledge of network and connectivity troubleshooting

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range: USD $55,000.00 - USD $60,000.00 /Yr.
