Volt is immediately hiring for Principal .NET Azure Engineer, in Andover, Massachusetts

As a Principal .NET Azure Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Review and develop robust API contracts and scalable microservices for internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to translate requirements into well-defined technical implementation.
  • Work closely with development teams to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain the application.
  • Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Machine Learning.


Required Qualifications:

  • Primary Skills: Azure. Net Core, Azure AD, Azure DevOps.
  • Experience of programming and scripting languages/frameworks such as. net core. net, ASP. net. Net Frameworks.
  • Experience of range services from the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform including Infrastructure and Security related services such as Azure AD, IaaS, PaaS, Containers, Storage, Azure Monitoring, Security, App Insights and Log Analytics.
  • Experience on Microsoft Azure Platform as A Service (PaaS) product such as Azure SQL, App Service, Logic Apps, Functions and other Serverless services.
  • Experience with claims-based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA and RBAC.
  • Evident hands-on experience with one or more of serverless architecture (Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps), Azure API.
  • Management, Middleware (Azure Service bus), Azure Event Hub, Azure Batch, Azure App Services, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS)
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such including Azure AD & amp; AD B2C.
  • Good understanding of Azure cloud service offering (covering Azure Compute, Storage, Network, WebApp, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Functions, Azure AD).
  • PowerShell, Git, ARM templates and deployment automation using Azure DevOps.
  • Azure Data Lake, Azure DevOps / Databases like SQL server, Cosmos DB and Web service integration.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with GraphQL (implementation and integration)
  • Experience or familiarity with gRPC
  • knowledge with Azure Infrastructure, security, token management.
  • knowledge of Timeseries databases (for example, Influx DB, Timescale DB).


Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Andover, Massachusetts

Work Schedule: Hybrid (2 days onsite)

Pay rate: $60/hr. to $75/hr.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
