Marketing and Creatives Game Day Intern

The South Carolina Stingrays are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our Marketing and Creatives team for the 2024-25 season. As a Marketing and Creatives Intern, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, social media content, and promotional materials. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced sports environment.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in the creation and design of marketing materials, including graphics, social media content, and promotional assets.
• Help manage the Stingrays' social media platforms including posting and engaging with fans.
• Support the marketing team in promoting events such as games and community outreach activities.
• Provide administrative support to the marketing team, organizing, tracking campaign performance, and other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in sports marketing, graphic design, or related fields.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and social media platforms.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to attend most Stingrays home games (36 home games) and promotional events.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to take direction and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must have a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Must be comfortable to work in fast paced, high pressure environment
• Keep a professional demeanor with the ability to interact with fans, staff members, players, coaches, and front office executives.
• Able to attend the majority of Stingrays home games.
