About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director/Co-Director of Development and Operations to lead its mission of fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion within the environmental movement. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership in all matters related to the development and financial operations of the organization. This includes designing and implementing an annual development funding plan, maintaining fiscal sustainability through various fundraising strategies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The role also involves cultivating authentic relationships with partners, inspiring collective action, and ensuring that equity is at the forefront of all initiatives. The Executive Director/Co-Director will be part of a collective leadership model, working closely with the team to make strategic decisions and direction for the organization. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in nonprofit leadership, finance, operations, or development, and a strong commitment to a collective leadership model. The role requires proven skills in grantmaking, financial management, and donor cultivation, as well as experience in project management and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for EDI, social justice, environmental justice, stewardship, and reciprocity, and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Strong analytical skills and the ability to present complex data are essential. Desired qualifications include the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships, and a proactive, strategic approach to long-term goals.
