Job Description: Neurodiagnostic Specialist
This role involves obtaining quality neurodiagnostic recordings by performing routine and advanced testing, preparing equipment, attaching electrodes, recording and archiving data, and maintaining equipment cleanliness. Responsibilities include ensuring timely testing, gathering patient history, recognizing emergent events, and responding to emergencies while adhering to universal precautions and safety protocols. Additional duties include training new staff, managing supplies and equipment, coordinating maintenance, and maintaining a clean working environment. The role also requires compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and participation in safety and quality activities.
Required Qualifications: Neurodiagnostic Specialist
* One year Neurodiagnostic experience required.
* High school education or equivalent required.
* Strong PC Skills and Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
*Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
* Registry by American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM) or American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET) required or Registry by American Board of Registry for Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET) or equivalency required. If equivalency, ABRET required within 12 months of transfer or hire. Ex

* Graduate from an Electroneurodiagnostic program, preferred.
