Position Highlights:
Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a Pharmacy Inventory Technician for our DOC main campus location. The Pharmacy Inventory Technician will be responsible for managing the medication inventory, coordinate inventory transfers between the retail and HUB pharmacy locations and complete traditional retail pharmacy technician roles and responsibilities as needed.
The ideal candidate is excited to be a part of something new, and brings with them previous retail pharmacy experience, inventory knowledge, strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting the pharmacy team.

Shift details:
Full Time & Benefits Eligible (1.0 FTE or 80 hours in a 2-week pay period)
First Shift, 8.5-hour shifts scheduled from 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday
One holiday shift per year

Pharmacy Technician - Retail Inventory Technician:
Prepares and dispenses medication upon receiving prescription from prescribers and processes all related duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 18 years of age required.
Ability to attend and successfully complete 160 hours of on the job training required.
High school education or equivalent required.
Ability to complete moderate to difficult mathematical calculations using a hand held calculator required.
Licensed Nebraska pharmacy intern or registered as a pharmacy technician with the State of Nebraska Board of Pharmacy required.
If registered as a Pharmacy Technician, certification within twelve months of registration date required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Work experience which demonstrates analytical ability, judgment, and interpersonal skills in pharmacy or healthcare preferred.
College coursework in pharmacy preferred.
Ability to type 20 wpm (with error correction) preferred.
