Clinician Educator/Tenure Track Position

 

Creighton University School of Dentistry is seeking a motivated  Endodontist to support and help develop didactic and clinical curriculum to provide dental students with a broad spectrum of experiences in the treatment of Endodontics.  Creighton is a Catholic and Jesuit comprehensive university committed to excellence in undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. The 12-month, clinician/educator-tenure track position will work with a team of dedicated faculty and leaders who are building on a rich legacy of excellence in dental education and expanding our capacity as a national resource for the dental profession.  Position responsibilities include clinical, laboratory, didactic teaching, and research. Candidates must also possess strong organizational and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a collegial, interdisciplinary environment.  Academic rank will be based upon qualifications.

 

Primary appointment will be in the Department of Endodontics. 

 

Qualifications: 

Qualified candidates must have:

  • A DDS or DMD degree from an ADA accredited Dental School, successful completion of Part I and Part II of the National Board Dental Examination.
  • A Certificate in Endodontics from an ADA Accredited Institution or an equivalent degree from an international program along with completion of an ADA accredited clinical specialty program.  
  • Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Nebraska and acquire credentialing from applicable third-party payer systems.

Ability to provide evidence of excellent university-level teaching and/or significant publications
