Enterprise Asset Coordinator

Oversees the lifecycle management and optimization of an organizations assets, including both physical and digital assets. Gathers, analyzes, and interprets data related to asset performance, utilization, maintenance, and cost management. Works closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to ensure that asset management systems align with business goals and deliver value across the organization.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Collects and analyzes data related to the lifecycle of physical and digital assets, including acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and disposal.

  • Develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor asset performance and efficiency.

  • Provides actionable insights and recommendations to improve asset utilization and reduce downtime and costs.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of strategies for asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal to optimize the total cost of ownership.

  • Supports asset tracking and ensures that assets are accurately recorded, classified, and monitored throughout their lifecycle.

  • Works with stakeholders to assess and prioritize asset needs and opportunities for improvement across the enterprise.

  • Assists in the implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise asset management (EAM) systems or software solutions.

  • Ensures that asset management processes are aligned with business needs and industry best practices.

  • Works closely with IT teams to ensure the successful integration of asset management systems with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, maintenance management software).

  • Analyzes and identifies opportunities to improve asset management processes, with a focus on streamlining operations and minimizing downtime.

  • Collaborates with business units to ensure that asset management policies and procedures are followed.

  • Recommends and drives the adoption of best practices in asset management across the enterprise.

  • Supports the budgeting process for asset procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle management.

  • Assists in the development of cost-effective strategies for asset procurement, maintenance, and replacement to reduce total cost of ownership.

  • Analyzes asset-related expenses and suggest strategies for cost reduction.

  • Supports the selection and management of vendors and suppliers for asset procurement and maintenance.

  • Works with procurement and legal teams to negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers and service providers.

  • Ensures that assets are compliant with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Monitors risks related to asset management, including asset obsolescence, security, and compliance, and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Works with internal auditors and compliance teams to ensure adherence to asset management protocols.

  • Provides training and support to internal teams on asset management software, policies, and procedures.

  • Serves as a point of contact for asset management-related inquiries and provide guidance to ensure effective use of asset management systems and tools.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and business intelligence tools.

  • Familiarity with asset management processes and systems

  • Ability to interpret complex data and present insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis, asset management, or a related field required.
