Overview:

Provides health education to patients with diabetes and patients with other health related problems. Assists with coordination of inpatient and outpatient diabetic programs.

 

Shifts:

24 hrs/wk;

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse or Registered Dietician currently licensed in the state of Nebraska with current knowledge in diabetes; BSN preferred. Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or willing to obtain in 2 year of hire. Knowledge of how to maintain insulin pumps. Recent diabetic education and experience are preferred. Knowledge of adult learning principles.
