CDL DRIVER, FEED DIVISION - TORRINGTON, WY

Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced truck driver to join our Feed team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting bulk feed to designated locations, adhering to all transportation regulations, and ensuring timely delivery. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate a commercial truck to transport bulk feed to various locations.
2. Safely load and unload feed products using appropriate equipment and following established procedures.
3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure operational safety and compliance with company and regulatory standards.  Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
4. Follow all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and operating the vehicle.
5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours of service in compliance with state and federal regulations.
6. Perform routine maintenance tasks on the truck, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and conducting minor repairs as needed.  Report any mechanical problems or safety hazards immediately to management.
7. Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both inside the truck cab and in the cargo area.
9. Assist in daily operations including plant up-keep and maintenance.
10. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no serious violations or accidents in the past three years.  Class A or Class B CDL preferred.  
2. Knowledge of applicable transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
5. Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy materials more than 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform other physically demanding tasks as needed.
