SUMMARY
Assists in taking care of dairy and frozen food departments from ordering and stocking of product to maximizing sales and profits for the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure that customer service 10’ rule policy is enforced throughout the department and store.
Unloads trucks and breaks down loads coming in/out.
Assists in order writing and stocking of shelves using the two-hand method.
Fills AD items, in-store specials, milk & eggs as needed as well as promotional cases.
Cleans shelving, coolers and back room as well as facing department for store presentation and conditions.
Must meet company productivity standards when working product to shelves.
Coordinate with Frozen Food/Dairy Manager/Grocery Manager on daily activities.
Must be knowledgeable of all safety regulations pertaining to cutters, lifting, and bailer operations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education, or up to one month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the company.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
