The Behavioral Health Coordinator is a professional person with the overall responsibility for directing the programmatic and clinical aspects of the day and residential program. Significant aspects of the work include: casework with individuals served by the program to address mental health or behavioral health needs; being familiar with a variety of therapeutic models including Applied Behavior Analysis, consulting with and training Program Managers and Direct Support Professionals in behavioral interventions including documentation and behavioral support strategies, oversight of the Individual Program Plan (IPP) process, developing and maintaining effective partnerships with local and state agencies, developing and maintaining interagency and community relationships, and exercise of independent judgment within a broad framework of rules, regulations and policies to insure compliance with DD regulations.

Summary: The Behavioral Health Coordinator is responsible for directing the programmatic and clinical aspects of a day and residential program for individuals with mental health or behavioral health needs. This includes casework, training and consulting with staff, overseeing the Individual Program Plan process, and developing partnerships with local and state agencies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in case management and working with individuals with mental health diagnoses, as well as a LMHP or LIMHP license.
