For more than 50 years, Council on Aging of Volusia County has provided no-cost and low-cost services to some of the most fragile seniors in our community.  As this population grows, the best care for each individual continues to be paramount. Each employee and volunteer--the Meals on Wheels delivery driver, the aide who assists with personal care, the Senior Center activities coordinator, and the administrative staff member--undergoes a full background screening and FBI-level fingerprinting. Of primary importance are well-trained, well-screened, and committed employees who truly care about seniors--employees who become trusted advocates to the growing number of Volusia County seniors in critical need of assistance to remain independent.
