Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Civil Design Project Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can communicate effectively with clients and team members.  Additionally, this candidate will:

  • Work closely with internal staff on design projects, design plans, and specifications for urban and rural public/private roadways, which may include grading, erosion control, stormwater management, and sanitary sewers.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and design-related documents with the supervision and guidance of the project manager.
  • Work with city, county, and state regulatory or reviewing authorities to identify appropriate design criteria and limitation

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an EAC/ABET, CEAB-accredited engineering program, or program that meets the NCEES Engineering Education Standard
  • Engineer in Training (“E.I.T.” or “E.I.”) Designation
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office & MicroStation
  • Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic computations, computer modeling, and presentation of results.
  • Demonstrated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six years of progressively responsible experience
  • Registered Professional Civil Engineer
  • Demonstrated experience in OpenRoads/GEOPAK software
