Administrative Assistant – Clerk and Elections

Scotts Bluff County Clerk's Office is currently accepting applications for the full-time position (37.5 hours per week) of Administrative Assistant – Clerk and Elections. This person will be performing administrative support work relating to marriage licenses, indexing records, transferring records to electronic format, filing, answering phones, assisting the public, working with tobacco and liquor licenses, reporting to state agencies, as well as other support roles. Additionally, this position will require extensive hands-on work with elections including, but not limited to, processing voter registrations, election preparation, scanning, and assisting with in-office voting. Applicants must have strong computer skills as various programs are used for different operations of this office. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and typical office equipment are required. Strong customer service skills, dependability, and a willingness to work as a team are highly important.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass criminal background check. This position is available for Veteran’s Preference. Scotts Bluff County is an EEO/AA employer.
