Essential Functions:

Initiate, facilitate and moderate classroom lecture and discussion through critical thinking healthcare theory
Follow syllabus, providing feedback as necessary
Discussing and physically demonstrating required hands-on skills
Evaluating student’s clinical skills, class work and assignments.
Checking off on student’s competency of C.N.A and C.M.A skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels-written, verbal, presentation modalities and comfort educating/providing staff resources and support
Collaborating with colleagues to address teaching, curricula, course content, course materials and methods of instruction
Ability to identify students who are having difficulty with the material and provide a different learning approach to help them better comprehend the material.
Must be able to work independently

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse or LPN (Nebraska or Iowa) (required)
Prior teaching experience (preferred)
Supervised CNA's currently or in the past (required)
Open availability is a bonus (Weekday preferred).
Flexible shifts available

License/Certification:

Unencumbered NE RN or LPN license (Required)

Work Location: on-site, different locations available
