According to the Health and Safety Executive, throughout 2013 and 2014, there were 244,000 new cases of work-related stress, depression, and anxiety. Over the same length of time, 11.3 million working days were lost due to the same factors. That’s an average of 23 days missed per case of workplace stress. Obviously, that number is way too high!

Exercise is a great stress reducer! Health and wellness programs are becoming more and more common in the workplace. From webinars and seminars on wellness to offering in-house fitness classes and/or wellness program reimbursement, every company should consider developing wellness incentives.
