Interested in IT? Want to hear the latest developer tips, see the newest software and learn better techniques? The 12th Annual Heartland Developers Conference (HDC) offers attendees an opportunity to learn from developers and network with design and development peers from the Midwest’s tech community and beyond.

Every year, HDC attracts a diverse group of individuals from startups to large companies. Conference participants range from entry-level programmers  to software design and development gurus. This conference is the perfect opportunity to get together with the region’s tech community and dive into the latest technology firsthand.

This year, the conference will take place at Embassy Suites in La Vista and feature presentations from Shen Chauhan of Microsoft, Kevin Hoyt of IBM, Joe Olsen of Phenomblue and Nick Sherrill of Beehive Industries. Speakers will cover subjects such as the importance of data, making a visually-beautiful user experience and bringing digital strategy to the C-Suite.

Conference attendees will have access to all sessions Thursday and Friday and have the ability to make an itinerary that best matches their interests. A full schedule of the HDC events can be found here.

Another huge benefit of HDC is access to tech professionals who can explain the latest tools and software during 8, 4-hour, hands-on workshops on Wednesday, prior to the main conference.

This year, HDC will feature workshops focused on Elasticsearch, AngularJS, Web Animation Primer and UX Design Techniques. The workshops are offered to any conference attendee for an additional fee and can be purchased through the HDC website.

“The workshops offer individualized attention from tech professionals and are geared toward in-depth, instructor-led discussions in specific areas of interest. It’s a great added bonus to the conference,” said MaryAnn Fustos, Communications Coordinator, AIM.

HDC isn’t all work and no play! On Thursday, all participants are invited to enjoy a night of networking, food, drinks and games at the MESH event held at “The V.”

The region’s longest running software design and developer conference, HDC, is geared up to bring guests a variety of exciting events and opportunities this year. Get your tickets today before space runs out!
