AIM will host its annual Tech Celebration on October 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Holland Performing Arts Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
The two-part event will feature an awards ceremony honoring members of the local IT community, as well as an online C-Level auction benefiting AIM Youth pipeline initiatives.
“The evening is all about promoting the tech community and celebrating the individuals who have had some major achievements within the year,” said Dave Vankat, Director of Events Management, AIM.
This year the AIM Tech Celebration will present 7 awards including: exemplary tech student, tech educator, tech innovator, tech leader, emerging business and enterprise business.
“We are adding a seventh award this year to recognize a special community builder, which we do on very rare occasion,” said Vankat.
“The C-Level auction makes the event unique because it ties in AIM’s efforts in fundraising for Youth in IT initiatives,” said Vankat. “It’s a way for the executives who are a part of the auction to support AIM through offering their time to bidders who would like to learn more about their career paths and develop business relationships.”
Bidding for the second annual C-Level auction opens October 26 and is powered by Proxibid.
