How you will contribute

Valmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for a Material Handler/Warehouse. They will line set and move material to and from the line area as required. Additionally, you will...

• Safely operate a forklift throughout the plant.

• Have good knowledge of warehouse (packaging, parts, etc.)

• Set up and follow daily work schedule.

• Responsible for maintaining a proper work flow.

• Move product between departments and warehouse.

• Move between different departments on as needed basis to meet customer requirements.

• Hazardous-Waste Accumulation Containers.

• Work with a safety oriented attitude, insure a safe work environment.

• Knowledge of proper safety in regards to hazardous waste handling containers. Waste minimization.

• Emergency Response and Contingency and Hazardous Communication / Right to Know.

• Lean initiative and Core Competencies.

  What it takes

  Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• Able to follow simple work instructions.

• Be capable of lifting up to fifty pounds.

• Show interest for improvement and advancement.

• Good organizational and communication skills, as well as ability to get along with others.

• The ability to work with diverse groups of people.

• This position is considered a safety sensitive position and as such is subject to the provisions of Valmont's Random Drug Screening policy.

• Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results.
