A Brief Summary of This Position:
Valmont is looking for a Marketing Intern for their Irrigation Division. The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting with graphic design (both print and digital) and photo manipulation/editing. The intern will focus on delivering high-quality marketing deliverables in the pursuit of strengthening the Valley brand, increasing awareness and generating demand.Â The intern will also assist with other marketing projects as needed. This position is perfect for someone who is looking to work in a fast-paced environment and wanting to learn more about the marketing industry. The candidate will not only learn about what it takes to make a marketing program successful, but also will have the opportunity to see it from start to finish.Â
Valmontâ??s internship program mission is to provide a hands-on learning experience through project work, leadership development, job shadowing and interaction with senior leadership.

Work is typically performed in an office setting.Â The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings.Â Â Â Environment is fast paced and demanding most of the time.Â No travel requirements for this position.Â The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms while working in the office with various files and forms and while working on the computer.Â The employee is occasionally required to move about the office.Â Incumbent must utilize proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor height and positions, keyboard location and height and proper wrists rests. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds in working with large files, binders, and computer equipment.Â Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
