A Brief Summary of This Position:
At Valmont Solar, the Product Quality Engineer has responsibility for overall product quality and works across multiple products, suppliers, management levels, and responsibilities to establish product specifications and manufacturing quality control methods. In this visible and hands-on role, you will enjoy important responsibilities combined with on-site problem solving that comes with overseeing the quality for some of the most important infrastructure in the renewables world today. You will develop quality tools, systems, and instrumentation for groundbreaking product designs for green energy applications.

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:
Work is typically performed in an office setting.Â The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings.Â Â Â Environment is fast paced and demanding most of the time.Â The position may require approximately 25% travel including international travel.Â The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms while working in the office with various files and forms and while working on the computer.Â The employee is occasionally required to move about the office.Â Incumbent must utilize proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor height and positions, keyboard location and height and proper wrists rests. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds in working with large files, binders, and computer equipment.Â Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Minimum base salary is $99,707 and max is $155,792.
