How you will contribute

Valmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the Racker/ Packer position in the Los Angeles, CA Coatings Division. We are looking for a highlyã??driven individual that will stack products and materials for the Racking and Packing Process. Additionally, you willâ?¦

Adjust rack per configuration of parts
Count parts and racks
Verify paperwork to parts to rack and un rack parts
Set up and remove fixtures and/or hooks from load bars
Determine flaws, scratches and rejects on raw parts
Inspect finished parts for stains, discoloration or damage. Separating those that do not meet quality requirements
Clean parts and package finished parts per instructions

What it takes

Required Qualifications

Must be able to complete required paperwork
The ability to safely lift up to 20 pounds regularly throughout shift
Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel and reach for long periods of time
Must be able to follow directions and complete assigned tasks
Be able to work with a diverse group of people
Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results

Highly qualified candidates will also possess:

Bilingual English/Spanish
The ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner
Must have a high awareness for safety at all times
