How you will contribute

Valmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the Quality Control position in the Global Coatings Division. We are looking for a highly driven individual that will inspect and finish galvanized materials to ensure the result of high quality parts and products. Additionally, you will...

• Remove finished product from the racks and clean galvanized materials to ensure high quality
• Operate sanders and other hand and power tools to finish the galvanized product
• Provide recommendations to improve damaged or defective products
• Wear required personal protective equipment and follow facility safety regulations
• Maintain a safe and productive working environment
• Work in a team environment to accomplish safety and production goals

What it takes

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions
• Must be able to communicate and work well with others
• Must be flexible to work extended hours including nights and weekends when necessary
• Must have a high awareness for safety at all times
• Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to deliver exceptional results

Highly qualified candidates will also possess:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• One year of previous experience in a quality control or related position
• One year of previous experience with operating hand and/or power tools
• Must have be able to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner
