Job Overview:

We have an immediate need for Senior Lead Marketing Manager - Federal and Solution Overlay Segment team, contributing to a Segment Marketing team focused on defining and driving key customer acquisition, retention programs and initiatives for Federal and all other Routes to Market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • This position will be responsible for supporting program development and execution in relation to acquiring customers and cross selling to current customers.
  • The Segment Marketing Lead Analyst will interact and drive programs across all marketing, product and sales support functions, requiring leadership skills, communication skills and the ability to drive cross functional teams effectively.
  • Be the advocate and knowledge source to drive customer requirements and initiatives to grow revenue specific to the Large Enterprise and Federal Sector client base. Members of this team will coordinate across Product Management, Strategic Pricing, Channel Marketing, Database Marketing, Sales Support, Sales Directors, Sales Operations and Go-To-Market teams to drive segment-specific initiatives.
  • This role will be measured on execution excellence and the ability to react quickly, determine priority and change as the needs of the business change.  Driving leads, prospecting programs, funnel growth and closed opportunities are keys to success.
  • Responsible for driving appropriate measurement from the Marcom and Marketing Operations team in order to determine changes, augmentations and repeats of effective programs. 
  • Reports to the Manager of Federal and Solution Overlay Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 8+ years of successful Marketing, Sales, or Program Management experience; 6+ years with Masters
  • Must be data driven in decision making and recommendations; with an ability to translate raw or spotty data into a recommendation that is able to be shared with senior management to influence the business.
  • Strong communication skills, leadership, analytical and decision making skills; with an ability to present and interact with Vice Presidents of the corporation.
  • Must be highly driven, competitive and lead by example.
  • Need to be flexible enough to play multiple positions, if needed.
  • Strong Excel , SQL and  PowerPoint skills a must.
  • Ability to align resources to develop compelling business cases and value proposition.
  • Must possess the ability to recognize business needs within varying organizations.
  • Ability to travel as business needs require (approx. 5%-15%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Established relationships with key decision-makers within each key market segment.
  • Telecom and /or hosting/IT Services background a plus.
  • MBA a plus
