Job Overview:

The Field Marketing Manager (FMM) is responsible for driving marketing campaigns and programs that increase the sales funnel and ultimately lead to acquiring new customers and to upselling new services to existing accounts. This position will develop and deliver tactics to drive high-touch marketing programs to move prospects and customers through the sales cycle to meet CenturyLink revenue targets. The FMM role will support the CenturyLink Enterprise sales organization  in a fast-paced environment that requires both  marketing and sales expertise.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver proactive communications plans that ensure awareness of marketing programs and other priorities.
  • Drive marketing programs through planning, execution, and results tracking.
  • Ensure adoption and participation in marketing campaigns and use of marketing automation tools by sales professionals; develop and deliver actions plans for improvement as needed.
  • Manage a formal feedback loop to provide field input on programs and promotions to product and segment marketing teams.
  • Drive lead generation activities to increase lead conversion rates (i.e., conversion of leads into sales funnel opportunities) to meet overall revenue targets.
  • Track lead generation and program results via and communicate success rates and/or opportunities to sales and marketing leadership.
  • Manage field marketing program budget.
  • Participate in and/or lead special projects and initiatives that provide marketing support and resources to the sales organization.
  • Design, plan, communicate, and execute events across enterprise segments and industry verticals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 6+  years of marketing or sales experience, with field marketing background
  • Proven track record of successfully partnering with and supporting sales management
  • Experience with developing integrated, multi-touch marketing plans including lead generation programs
  • Product knowledge in enterprise hosting, managed services, cloud services (eg., IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS) combined with strong solution selling knowledge
  • Experience with sales and marketing automation systems and Marketo
  • Key attributes: self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, creative, productive and analytical
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Travel 20-30%
