Job Summary

 

Primary Focus: CenturyLink Connected Communities Acquisition Marketing

 

The Lead Marketing manager is focused on developing our prospective customer base through a blended marketing approach of both traditional and digital tactics to grow the portfolio of new logos. This position will work closely with sales, support, product, and consumer marketing teams to build and execute marketing programs to drive growth within each region.

Job Description

 

  • Develop and deliver marketing plans designed to improve opportunity conversion, generating higher value leads and opportunities.
  • Serves as the feedback loop to continuously improve lead quality and automation processes.
  • Manage field marketing program budget.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with consumer marketing and local sales teams to develop campaign narratives, messaging, and tactics.
  • Responsible for planning, delivering, monitoring, and enhancing both traditional and digital marketing programs.
  • Translates go-to-market strategies and identified opportunities into actionable and measurable marketing programs for all segments within the contract acquisition space.
  • Works with both corporate and external agencies to create and lead the delivery of vertical and horizontal campaigns.
  • Ensures campaigns are executed on-time, accurately, and successfully. Plans, designs, and executes marketing programs to drive prospect interest and demand.
  • Manages the execution and measurement of marketing campaigns.
  • Proactively monitors campaign impact, effectiveness (ROI), and market penetration rates to formulate recommendations to improve results. Tests new marketing initiatives to improve results.
  • Recognizes and shares data trends and recommends best practices based on successful campaigns.
  • Recommends new tools to better the overall marketing process.
  • Leads projects such as the development of marketing plans & forecasts, estimating costs, preparing pricing studies and managing program/project budgets.
  • Receives little supervision for most assignments.
  • Receives general instructions for non-standard analyses and projects.
  • Works on complex issues which requires input from multiple sources and innovative problem solving.
  • Acts in a multi-discipline project leadership role working towards the development of new solutions, processes, tools and systems.

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
  • 5 yrs marketing and/or sales experience
  • Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and results
  • Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and comes with start-up anything and everything mentality
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with team members
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workloads to meet competing deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and take the initiative
  • Travels as business needs permit

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns to drive sales results
  • Experience in sales or supporting sales teams
  • Experience managing projects
  • Telecommunications or technology background
