Job Summary

We are in the process of filling open positions for the combined company following CenturyLink's acquisition of Level 3 Communications. All qualified candidates who express interest by submitting an application to an open posting will be considered. However, based on business needs, preference may be given to internal applicants on certain positions. Manager Retail Sales I

The CenturyLink Field Sales organization is comprised of our stores, outside sales teams, and our account manager teams all of which work in our local markets in a variety of consumer and small business sales segments. You will have an opportunity to learn our dynamic business and work with field based partners and resources. You will work directly with our customers to provide solutions that improve lives, strengthen businesses, and connect communities by delivering advanced technologies and solutions with honest and personal service.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • One year of supervisory experience, preferably in a retail environment
  • One year of retail sales or customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • HS Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work varying shifts and hours including weekends and holidays

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Telecommunications knowledge
  • Proven success in a commission sales environment
  • College coursework or degree

Other Job Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation to events
  • Must be able to transport company materials
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record (MVR)
  • Must be able to lift/carry company materials up to 30 lbs.
  • Successful completion of the Manager Assessment
