Job Summary

The Quote Specialist will be the point of contact for field sales resources who need system guidance and expertise in quoting and pre-sales support.  This position will utilize internal sales systems to access information and provide accurate information to sales professionals. 

The position may reside in any of the following locations:

Dublin, OH    Monroe, LA   Rochester, PA   Coudersport, PA   Jacksonville, AR   Apopka, FL   LaCrosse, WI   Las Vegas, NV

 

 

We are in the process of filling open positions for the combined company following CenturyLink's acquisition of Level 3 Communications. All qualified candidates who express interest by submitting an application to an open posting will be considered. Job Description

  • Create quotes on behalf of internal sales professionals according to stated Service Level Agreements (SLA) for response time and accuracy
  • Support creation of complex and/or large renewal or MAC (Moves, Adds, Changes) quotes
  • Identify and share opportunities to improve quoting system functionality
  • Support the SSC Support Desk, as needed, by cross-training on systems and products
  • Participate in training to stay current on existing products and learn upcoming products
  • Provide consultative support to sales professionals

Qualifications

  • Ability to complete assigned tasks on time with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented and ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, and results-oriented professional
  • Excellent consultative and customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in written format
  • Ability to work with complex databases and systems
  • Develop effective working relationships with peers, sales team and across organizational lines

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years related work experience.
  • Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
