We have an immediate opportunity for a Lead Sourcing Analyst with six years of purchasing required.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Must demonstrate complete comprehension and execution abilities over the end-to-end procurement process for a broad range of diverse and complex procurements for assigned CPE/Resale Products and Services categories.  This may include, but is not limited to, issuance of requests for quotation; contract requests for proposal, pricing analysis, Vendor proposal evaluation, contract and price negotiations, and contract execution; and supplier performance management.
  • Leads cross-functional procurement teams (Strategic Sourcing, Business Unit, Technology and Corporate Stakeholders/Advisors and Suppliers).
  • Develops strategic sourcing plans for commodities and suppliers under scope of responsibility.
  • Drafting of various procurement contract documents and provisions including, but not limited to, master purchase and resale agreements, statements of work, product and pricing schedules, exhibits, appendices, amendments, etc.
  • Develop and maintain contracts in a contract management system.
  • Engage with suppliers and/or internal business units to understand requirements and performance gaps; identify root causes and corrective actions, and implement performance improvements.
  • Possess ability to adapt and react to changes in business direction while satisfying multiple task demands and competing priorities.
  • Must develop and be accountable for key performance indicators outlined in the Annual Operating Plan, particularly such things as cost savings, supplier performance and contract management.
  • Gain a thorough understanding and comply with all CenturyLink corporate and departmental policies, methods and procedures

Basic Job Qualifications:   

  • College degree and/or Masters Degree
  • Six years of purchasing experience required.
  • Commodity/Industry knowledge for CPE/Resale Products and Services
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment; self-motivated; strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to process large amounts of often complex data; detail oriented; ability to understand complex technical performance requirements, specifications and service expectations and translate them into clear, concise contract language.
  • Strong project management skills and customer focused attitude
  • Ability to work in a collaborative role with team members, business units and/or supplies to achieve desired business outcomes
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, MS Excel, Word and Power Point

    Preferred Job Qualifications:  

  • Six plus years of relevant Business and/or Purchasing experience 
  • Expert understanding of purchasing industry strategies and tactics
  • Intermediate to advanced professional experience in the procurement and/or contracting functions (negotiations, drafting and administration) for CPE/Resale Products and Services
  • Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
  • Leadership and management skills
