Job Summary:

Provide direct, 1:1, assessment and treatment (i.e., behavioral therapy services) to children diagnosed with Pediatric Feeding Disorder or a related disorder. This position will assist with organizing and maintaining data collection and statistical analysis systems, research activities, and staff training for the program. This position will also assist with cleaning, organizing, and preparing case and department materials and systems.

All behavioral therapy strategies and intervention components will occur through the implementation of a treatment plan that is prepared and directed by a BCBA or BCBA-D/Licensed Psychologist

Required Qualifications:

  • High School education or GED
  • Must have a minimum of six months experience working with children
  • Licensed as a Registered Behavioral Technician or ability to obtain a Registered Behavioral Technician license within 90 days of hire date

 

  • Ability to prepare for and collect data.
  • Ability to enter data and update graphs using a computer program.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient during challenging situations.
  • Must be able to adhere to the principles and mission of the Institute.
  • Ability to interact professionally with colleagues, supervisors, caregivers, and other service providers.
  • Ability to establish organizational systems and time management strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant coursework/specialized training
