Position Summary | The Ghosal Lab is interested in the molecular mechanisms of genome integrity in cancer and premature aging syndromes. Using cell culture and mouse models we study how deregulation of DNA damage response pathways in response to oncogene-induced replication stress promotes cancer development and/or progression. We utilize a variety of approaches including biochemistry, proteomics, cell biology, molecular biology, and cancer biology techniques in mammalian cell culture and mouse models. |

Required Qualifications | Applicants must attach their Curriculum Vitae, a cover letter describing their background and research interests, and three letters of recommendations. Required Qualifications PhD or MD/PhD degree in the fields of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cancer biology or a related discipline. |
Supplemental Qualifications | A strong experimental background with evidence of experimental skills related to cell biology, molecular biology, and cancer biology is mandatory. Supplemental Qualifications The candidate should have evidence of prior productive scientific work in the form of publications in peer-reviewed journals. Previous working experience with cell culture and mouse models is preferred. |
