Position Summary
Primary responsibility for support of executive leadership in the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center (FPBCC), including support for the director. Secondary responsibility for Faculty recruitment within the department to include processes for faculty recruitment, faculty evaluation, and coordination of faculty Grand Rounds and special lectureships. Responsibilities require strong coordination, organizational and interpersonal skills dealing with corporate level executives. Takes primary direction from Director and secondary oversight from departmental administrator

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include professional telephone skills and excellent grammar and spelling skills.
  • Ability to interact respectfully and positively with cancer center leaders, members, and other institutional stakeholders. 
  • Organizational skills and good problem-solving aptitude.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and ability to multi-task efficiently, while balancing competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who takes initiative.
  • Must be able to work independently and use good personal judgement in making decisions.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree

Preferred Experience:
Office experience in a university setting providing service for senior level or corporate executives. Transcription training and/or experience.
