Position Summary | The postdoctoral research associate position, in the Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Neuroscience at the University of Nebraska Medical Center will test the mechanism for reversing the signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease in a unique humanized mouse model. Specifically, the chosen candidate will be assigned molecular, biochemical, and cell biological testing systems to evaluate how human T cell populations can affect neuroprotection and/or reverse the signs and symptoms of the disease. The interface between adaptive immunity and restoration of cognitive function will be studied in unique cell and animal-based systems. |
