Position Summary
The Manager of the Center for Community-based Education & Preceptor Excellence will be responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of the institution wide UNMC Center for Community-Based Education and Preceptor Excellence, and initiatives described in the UNMC Strategic Plan.

This includes serving as a liaison for all academic programs, clinical and non-clinical student training sites, and operationalizing a new enterprise-wide platform to manage and track multiple aspects and functions related to student community-based experiential learning and faculty volunteers. The position is essential to support the achievement of the statewide mission and works closely with other UNMC and external contacts to support the complex programmatic and administrative activities of the program.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree

4. Ability to offer program coordination expertise.
5. Ability to work cooperatively with individuals at all levels.
6. Knowledge of grant process.
7. Ability to work collegial and collaborative with diverse internal and external audiences;
8. Ability to manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks accurately;
9. Excellent interpersonal, communication, team-building, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in higher education, workforce training, or provision of technical assistance. Knowledge of active learning curriculum development; Experience using rapid cycle quality improvement assessment strategies; Experience building academic and community partnerships; Familiarity with the communities across Nebraska; and Work experience with health care systems in rural and underserved areas.
