Position Summary | Gastroenterologist The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking an academic Gastroenterologist who is committed to excellence in patient care, teaching and research. The Division is expanding and offers opportunities for clinical scholars in general gastroenterology and major subspecialty areas including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, motility, endoscopy and intestinal failure. The potential for outreach to smaller communities and rural areas, telehealth and participation in clinical research is a highlight of this position. The successful candidate must be an MD, DO (or equivalent degree) with ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine and board certification/eligibility in Gastroenterology. Expectations include board certification in GI or Hepatology within 3 years of hire.
