GENERAL REQUISITION INFORMATION

Vaccination Requirement	The University of Nebraska Medicine Center (UNMC) requires COVID-19 vaccinations for all students, staff, and faculty. All employees must be fully vaccinated unless they have requested and been approved for an exemption based on a recognized medical reason, a sincerely held religious belief, or a pre-approved, 100% remote work agreement. Position Summary	Experienced molecular biologist to provide support to cell and molecular biology studies in an established virus pathogenesis and evolution lab. Duties include establishing and maintaining lab activities and resources, conducting or assisting with relevant research experiments, as well as recording and analyzing results according to established protocols. Participates in laboratory meetings and training of new staff.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors, professional staff and students.
