Will work in the Mind & Brain Health Labs (MBHL) with the principal investigator and research team to coordinate, develop, and conduct scholarly and clinical research projects. This includes ongoing NIH research in aging, medical, and neurological populations.
Assist in implementation and administration of behavioral and cognitive research at MBHL, including
1) assisting in the implementation of clinical and scholarly research projects as requested;
2) developing competency in use of and assist in research using advanced, high-fidelity driving simulators, naturalistic driving tools, sensor-based measures of physiology and behavior, and cognitive assessment tools;
3) adhering to established study timelines for study coordination and execution and study protocols; and 4) develop and maintain IRB documents.
Assist in general lab function, including administrative function. This includes collecting and recording data, and assisting in the preparation, documentation, and processing of data for inclusion in reports, including compiling and tabulating results.
Assist in developing and implement data collection protocols and databases as requested; adhere to UNMC, HIPAA, and lab data security/privacy protocols and guidelines; and complete other duties as assigned including participation in lab meetings as requested.
