Position Qualification

Position Summary
The Department of Neurological Sciences (DONS) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center seeks a General Neurologist. This BC/ BE General Neurologist will practice within a large academic Department of Neurological Sciences (DONS), and have the opportunity to collaborate with outpatient subspecialty care neurology programs such as Epilepsy, Headache, Neurovascular/Stroke, Movement Disorders, Neuromuscular, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuro-ophthalmology, and Memory Disorders & Behavioral Neurology. The DONS enjoys a dedicated Neurophysiology services offering outpatient EMG, EEG and MEG services. He or she will have the opportunity to participate in teaching residents and medical students. There is financial support for professional development, and medical conference travel. Additional potential opportunities exist in clinical research, outreach activities including telemedicine, inpatient care, or quality improvement. Outpatient clinic opportunities exist at three dedicated multispecialty clinic locations. He or she will have significant control over their case mix and patient continuity. Competitive salary, compensation, and benefits are offered based on experience and ability.
