Position Summary | Academic Radiation Oncologist The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE is actively recruiting a Radiation Oncologist to focus on neuro-oncology while contributing to the care of thoracic oncology patients. Our vision is to be the leader in multidisciplinary patient care by employing advanced technology and innovative treatment techniques. Parallel to the development of the clinical program, we are placing an emphasis on the continued expansion of our research programs. The Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center is the only National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated cancer center in Nebraska. Our growing faculty includes seven physicians, nine physicists and three research faculty dedicated to education at all levels from health professions students, post-graduate residency programs and continuing medical education. The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible in radiation oncology. Required Qualifications | Applicants must have a MD or DO degree with completion or near completion of a residency in ACGME accredited Radiation Oncology. Applicants applying should have experience in 3D-CRT, IMRT, SABR, SRS and HDR. Board certification or board eligibility from the American Board of Radiology (ABR). |
