Position Qualification

Position Summary	The Ghosal Lab is interested in the molecular mechanisms of genome integrity in cancer and premature aging syndromes. Using mammalian cell culture and mouse models we study the deregulation of DNA damage response pathways in cancer and age-related disorders. In particular, the lab has made contributions to a better understanding of the DNA-Protein crosslink repair pathway. We utilize a variety of approaches including biochemistry, proteomics, cell biology, and molecular biology techniques. Applicants must attach their Curriculum Vitae, a cover letter describing their background and research interests, and three letters of recommendations.
Required Qualifications	PhD or MD/PhD degree in the fields of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline. A strong experimental background with evidence of experimental skills related to cell biology and molecular biology is mandatory.
Supplemental Qualifications	The candidate should have evidence of prior productive scientific work in the form of publications in peer-reviewed journals. Previous working experience with cell culture and mouse models is preferred.
