The Behavioral Psychotherapist at the Nebraska Medicine HIV Program will provide evidence-based counseling services (e.g., evaluation, consultation, and treatment) to patients within the ambulatory setting for the purpose of preventing or eliminating symptomatic, maladaptive, or undesired behavior and/or facilitating adaptation to physical illness including, but not limited to, HIV mental health and substance abuse. Position will coach patients in a new evidence informed national intervention that uses a video-based counseling series and two-way messaging to help people with HIV address challenges related to mental health, substance use, and HIV care engagement. This position will receive project specific training and a detailed facilitation manual. The video sessions are designed to cover a menu of topics all related back to improving health outcomes. Remote work will be considered for the video-based counseling.Omaha, NE
