ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR or PROFESSOR DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY University of Nebraska Medical Center  The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center invites applications from exceptional scholars for a tenure leading faculty position at the level of Associate Professor or Professor. We seek candidates with active research programs applying innovative multidisciplinary approaches to the study of Reproductive Sciences including Developmental and Perinatal Biology. We especially encourage applications from faculty candidates whose research is translational and has high potential for collaborative initiatives with clinicians and other researchers across the University. Candidates should have a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree; postdoctoral experience; a solid publication record; and evidence of excellent potential to maintain an externally funded, independent research program. Candidates will also be expected to contribute to the Departmentâ??s teaching mission and to mentor graduate students and clinical fellows.  The department has an established Olson Center for Womenâ??s Health Research Program that has been active for nearly 30 years.
