Description

Provide executive level support to the chair of the Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Neuroscience (PEN) including his/her roles as director the Center for Neurodegenerative Disorders (CND), the Nanomedicine Research Laboratory (NRL), Carol J. Swarts Laboratory for Emerging Neuroscience, and Nebraska Nanomedicine Production Plant (NNPP). Primary responsibilities will include efficient management daily scheduling, travel (national and international), editorial support, project and research coordination, academic and advancement evaluations, community fund raising, and coordination and event planning. Serves as liaison with UNMC internal departments, University of Nebraska campuses, external academic collaborators and pharmaceutical partners, state and federal organizations, and.
