Description

Oversee nutritional care for MMI patients with IDD and complex health care needs across the lifespan participating in programs including/but not limited to Pediatric feeding, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, integrated Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (iCASD), Genetics, Developmental Pediatrics, LEND, Caring for Champions Dental program, and Caring for Champions Dietary Health & Wellness. Provide input into program development related to nutritional implications of treatment of pediatric feeding disorders. The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) provides nutrition consultation and education for patients and their families who are screened at nutrition risk, identified with nutrition risk, and/or referred by physicians or other healthcare providers for nutrition-related problems, chronic disease management, management of nutrition support, to meet regulatory requirements, or for prevention and wellness. Clinically manage complex nutritional problems as identified in patients in the interdisciplinary evaluation feeding disorders clinic and intensive outpatient behavioral feeding disorders program. Participate in evaluation and implementation of inclusive health and wellness particularly focusing on healthy weight, optimal digestive health, and feasibility of individual/caregiver implementation.Omaha, NE
