We work closely with other Divisions and Departments in the College of Medicine to provide Palliative Care services. Our faculty is dedicated to education at all levels from health professions students through fellowship and continuing education. Ample opportunities exist to engage in various basic, translational, and clinical research related to Hospice and Palliative Medicine if desired. The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is a board certified/eligible and fellowship-trained in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine. Candidates should have an interest in teaching along with passion to help patients and their families deal with serious life threatening illness and symptom management.
