Postdoctoral Research Associate Hippo Signaling and Reproductive Endocrinology Dr. John S. Davis in the Olson Center for Womenâ??s Health, Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral candidates interested in conducting research in the actions of glycoprotein hormones and lipid mediators using large and small animal models and cellular biology approaches. The applicant will focus on the role of the Hippo/YAP/TAZ signaling pathway in proliferation, differentiation, and fate of ovarian cells. In addition to conducting independent research, the postdoctoral research associate will assist in coordinating education activities within the Womenâ??s Health Research Center. The UNMC campus together with the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center and the Omaha VA Medical center provide a range of valuable experiences and resources for a scientist considering a future career of research. The position requires a Ph.D., preferably in molecular/cellular biology, biochemical sciences, reproductive biology or genetics.
